Maternity self referral

Self-refer to have your baby with East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust’s maternity services. It is important that you arrange to see your midwife as soon as you think you may be pregnant; ideally between 8 and 10 weeks into your pregnancy. This will ensure you are given the right information, choices and support you need to help you make informed decisions about your maternity care. It will also enable us to offer you health related advice.

What they provide?

  • Access to antenatal classes
  • Allocating a midwife
  • Information regarding pregnancy and after your baby is born
  • Perinatal mental health support
